The Flou floor lamp standing on a flat steel base: a thin dark stem carrying a small lit spotlight, a long strip of handmade paper hanging from the top arm beside it, photographed against a soft grey backdrop.

Flou was created with the aim of designing a simple yet versatile lamp that adapts to the user’s needs and enriches the atmosphere of the space it inhabits. Its design is rooted in simplicity and explores how simple forms and carefully selected materials can challenge the conventional static character of the floor lamp. Flou centres on a rotatable, height-adjustable arm that houses a dimmable light source, allowing the user to tailor the light to their needs.

A sheet of handmade paper twists from the top arm of the lamp and glows where the spotlight grazes it.
